Visual Arts - Graphic Design
I am Andrea Lorini, an artist with a background in Graphic Design and a master’s degree in Visual Arts, based currently in Guatemala City. My artistic journey began in university, driven by a passion for exploring emotions, techniques, and perspectives. Inspired by the cultures I’ve lived in and by expressionism, I explore themes related to women, using vibrant colors and symbols that highlight feminine strength.
My work aims to connect spaces, break boundaries, and celebrate diversity from a contemporary perspective. For me, art is a conversation that bridges the past, present, and future.
In my practice, I combine acrylics, inks, collage, and pastels to explore emotion, color, and form. Acrylics create bold textures, inks provide precision, collage adds depth, and pastels bring contrast. Together, these techniques challenge norms, evoke feelings, and convey themes of strength, empowerment, and change.
My creative process blends intuition and intention, reflecting my experiences as a woman and artist. I focus on the role of women in society and celebrate cultural diversity through vibrant colors, symbols, and found elements. Hidden texts describing scenes, feelings, or desires add a personal layer and invite deeper connections with viewers.
Each piece harmonizes conscious intentions and subconscious impulses, blending floral elements, birds, and feminine forms. My art evokes emotions and forges connections, reflecting my story while resonating universally.
Looking ahead, I’m eager to explore new ways of expressing emotions and ideas, focusing on women’s perspectives through diverse cultural lenses.

“First Crush” is the moment when two people meet, and an instant connection sparks between them. It’s a meeting full of potential, where the chemistry between them is palpable, and the possibilities seem endless. In that moment, a subtle exchange of glances, words, or energy leaves a lasting impression, hinting at something deeper, something more. It’s a delicate space where curiosity and excitement blend, where the idea of love lingers in the air, waiting to unfold. The encounter, though fleeting, carries the potential to blossom into something beautiful and transformative.
